Vegetarian food at LAFFA: falafel, sabich and sides

Two useful starting points

Falafel and sabich lead in different directions. The falafel wrap includes hummus, vegetables, amba and tahini. Sabich combines aubergine and egg with hummus, vegetables and sauces. Comparing those main ingredients is more useful than simply choosing the first vegetarian item you notice, particularly when you want something different from your usual lunch.

Separate vegetarian from vegan

Sabich contains egg. Labneh and tzatziki are dairy options. Some dishes carry a vegan tag in our menu, but that does not make every combination or added topping vegan. Recheck the sauces and sides when changing a dish, rather than extending one label to your entire meal automatically.

Use the filter as a starting point

The Vegetarian button narrows the menu and can be switched off to show everything again. It is a selection aid based on our listed dishes, not a guarantee about allergens, shared equipment or possible substitutions. Ask about those separately if they are important to your requirements.

Create variety deliberately

Compare a main with sides such as hummus, baba ganoush, couscous salad or batata harra. Notice ingredients already present in the main if variety is your goal. Check current prices and availability, and discuss specific dietary needs with the restaurant before placing an actual order.
